Has any one begin devleoping a Parallax Design for the external website for Rock?

    Thank you, yes I have watched both of the Rock videos in the last 2 days. I will probably watch again. Thank you for the other info. I will look at those today. 

    With your experience and expertise should I try to start from scrach with the themese or use the basic "Stark" one to build off of?

      I would duplicate the Stark theme and go from there — it will have everything you need to get started.

      I don't know anyone personally who has done this yet, but it could be easy to implement with a plugin like stellar

      Thanks Nick. Any suggestions on someone that is rusty on the web design side how to brush up quickly? Im planning to deploy Rock as the CMS for our new website with the intentions of moving to Rock toward the end of this year. Use it for the CMS portion to get us moving on it. I have the photoshop designs for the site now im turning that in to a functional site.

      Yes, I would recommend Treehouse (paid) or Codecademy (free). I've used both and really enjoyed it. Also, the UI is built on top of Bootstrap — any tutorials you could find about that would be helpful.

      On the Rock specific side, there are two videos about getting started with themes in Rock and setting up the tools you need. Here and here.
