Check-in Setup for special Easter service times

OK all, Easter is coming and I'm helping our church make sure we're ready for check-in at unusual service times. I think I've got it ready but I'm looking for a reality check and confirmation that I haven't missed any critical steps. Rather than create 2016-only service times (after a few years we'd end up with a mess of "old" services in Rock) and since our special service times tend to be the same over and over, I'm setting up generic special service times like "Special service: 8:30am" and "Special service: 10:00am"

1) Create an event for each special service time under "Event Schedules", and "Recurring" pattern set to "Specific Dates", including 3/27/2016 as a "specific date", set to start on 3/27/2016 as well. Set the service beginning time to match the name (8:30am, 10:00am, etc), and set the service lengths correctly (70 minutes) and that I've set the correct (and non-overlapping) time offsets for beginning and ending check-in (30 minutes before and after beginning of schedule).

2) Add exceptions from Friday to Monday on the normal weekend service schedules

3) Edit the "Schedule" for "Weekly Service Check-in Area" (Check-in -> Check-in Configuration) by selecting "Event Schedules" category and then update the grid to select which ages are in which room for each Easter service time

4) Edit the "Schedule" for "Volunteer Check-in Area" as in step 3

...and I think that's it.
Am I missing anything else for setting up special one-week service times?

Since we are using the "Specific Dates" method for the special service times, I added this morning as an occurrence for our Easter services. I'm pleased to say that it worked perfectly, and so I believe that the above steps are complete.

I'll post something more thorough to shouldertheboulder.com shortly for everyone else's use.
