Is the Rock right for a ministry that is not a church

I am the executive director of a traveling ministry that does missions work as well as conferences and crusades. We have ministry partners but havn't found an adequate database to manage those partners. Partners are a lot like members...as we communicate with them often and keep track of their giving.

Do you all think the Rock would be a good option for us to manage that database of people?

I think Rock would likely meet your needs. The fact that it's called "Rock RMS" (Relationship Management System) instead of "Rock ChMS" (Church Management System) indicates that the vision of the product is that it can/would be used to manage all sorts of relationships, not just church-specific ones. WIth the great communications tools, giving tools, group management tools, etc I think it would be a good fit for the ministry you describe. It's certainly worth kicking the tires to find out ;-)

As a starting point I would check out the live RockRMS demo: http://rock.rocksolidchurchdemo.com/
