Running Rock on windows 7 ultimate?

I am curious if it is possible to run Rock on windows 7 ultimate?

    In short, yes. Running it locally if you know how is a great way to test out Rock. If you are planning on doing so as a long term solution I'd be curious to know why -- there are a number of incredibly affordable options for running Rock both internally and externally.

    Running on Windows 7 as mentioned above would be fine for testing but production versions should be at least Windows Server 2008 or higher.

    Yup, it is for testing purposes only so we can try it before we pull a trigger on having someone host for us or purchasing servers to do so ourselves. Thanks for the answers guys!
