Inactive spouse on giving statement

We did a mid-year print of our giving statements and I noticed that the name of an inactive (deceased) wife was showing on the statement.  All contributions were attributed to the husband.  When we make someone inactive, should we also change their contribution info to no longer combine with the family, or is this a situation that the statement generator should handle?

    We just came across this issue too Joe.  According to the documentation, deceased individuals should be moved out of households. This will prevent them appearing on statements.

    However, there is currently an issue creating a Known Relationship back to the family then (see Issue 1164). Even so, we moved deceased individuals into their own familiy and to successfully print statements.
