1 Seeking Reliable Solution for Install in Kenya 1 Adam Mosley posted 10 Years Ago I have a unique situation. We are planting a church in Kenya, where internet access pretty fast, but not terribly reliable. I would like to eventually implement Rock for kids check-in, but doing so would require either a full blown local server (which I really don't want to buy and maintain) or some ability to cache or clone the check-in module/database, capture the information locally, then sync at a later time. I recognize this is a development issue, but I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. Could there be an app (perhaps an iOS or Android app) that would function for kids checkin offline, then sync data the next time there was an internet connection? Mailchimp has an excellent iPad app that does just this type of thing. Users can fill out a form, and their information is uploaded the next time the app connects to the internet. The difference, of course, is that a kids check-in app would need to have a copy of the database available offline, which it could query for exisiting families/kids. Thoughts? Suggestions? Developers ready to accept the challenge? I'm all ears.
