Manual Attendance Input

It is my understanding that the attendance record found on the profile page is family attendance. Our church tracks individual attendance. Is there a way to show an individual's attendance record rather than the families. Also, is there a way to manually input attendance data? We do not ask any adults to check-in so it would helpful if we could record if they were here or not in Rock to keep the data updated.

By default the attendance graph on the person profile shows family history for adults and individual history for children. There's currently no way to change this behavior for adults.  If you think this should be added you might enter it as a request into the Black Book (http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/Ideas).

You can manually enter attenance on the groups that run check-in (http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/7/47#groupattendance). You might also need to enable these groups to show in the group viewer by modifying the display settings on the group type (depending on the groups your working with you may or may not need to do this).

Yes, if you go to the Attendance Analytics page there is a button at the top labeled 'Check-in Detail'. From there you can see the attendance for each of the groups and manually enter it in.

Thanks Jon, just to clarify what you said above. I dont see any group for "Adults". Should i create a new group ? so i can keep track of adult attendance manually?

when you say "modify the display settings" do you mean i should check both "Show in Group Lists &
      Show in Navigation" ?

      thanks

Here is an updated answer for entering data on adult attendance. Note much of this requires v4.0. Since that should be out soon (written 12/3/2015) I'll describe it there as it is simpler.

You can manuall add attendance from the Attendance Analytics page. There is a button at the top labeled 'Check-in Detail'. From there you can see the attendance for each of the groups and manually enter it in.

For Adult Attendance you'll need to add a new group to store this. I would recommend adding it using the check-in configuration tools (Admin Tools > Check-in Configuration). This will enable you to use tools like Attendance Analytics. Probably should look something like the screenshot below. Be sure to add service times also.

Note: I haven't fully tested this. It's meant to get you started.

so you have to choose each person that was in attendance, i thought we could just post a total attendance number for each specific group?
