Send Scheduled Recurring Email

Has anyone configured sending a weekly system email?

Would I have to write a custom job for this or is it possible/efficient using workfows?

    Hi Arran,

    You can setup a workflow that sends recurring system emails by using the Delay action.  Here's how I setup a basic workflow to do this:

    Action 1: Send system email

    Action 2: Delay 10080 minutes (total minutes in a week)

    Action 3: Activate Activity (set to the original activity)

     

    The only problem with this, and an issue we're running into, is that you can only send an email to one person or attribute.  I tested this with a 5 minute delay which worked without issue.
