As a very simple minded newcomer to the RockRMS family, I've been having trouble figuring out how to setup the right combination of data views / reports to produce a Church Phone Directory that consists of an alphabetical list of families (including address/etc) that ALSO lists the persons in each family (including their cell/email/birthday/etc). Any suggestions or tips that have been useful for your church? Thank you so much for the help!

Ross,

So I understand correctly when you say "also lists the persons in each family", do you want the families grouped together or do you just want to make sure that the report doesn't skip family members(i.e. the report grabs the husband in the family and skips the wife and kids)?

I also need to do something to this effect. As well as mailing labels. I've been researching this for a while but can't seem to figure out how to get it to work.

Jonathan: We have a solution for mailing labels complete and it will be in the next release (v4.0).

Thanks Jon. I was trying even to export them to excel but I can't get the husband and wife to merge together. We usually just send one mailing per household rather than a piece to each individual. So if the mailing labels feature has a way to do that, that would be amazing :)
