Financial Gateway

Is PayFlowPro the only Financial Gateway that is going to be offered/supported?  We are looking ahead to determine if we want to integrate online giving with the Rock mangement system or if we want to use our hosted website provider (clover).

    Hi Andrew,

    At this time, Payflow is the only gateway provider available within RockRMS.  Other options can be created and we anticipate developers RockRMS ecosystem to help in this regard.

      Just to tag on to this, we (at NewSpring) have already written a CyberSource gateway to work with Rock. It should be available for the official v1 launch via the Rock app store.

        How will support be handled for CyberSource? Will you guys at NewSpring be handling that, or CyberSource, or both?

          We'll definitely support the plugin, but Cybersource has a stellar support team that you can call (for free) with questions about how their service works.

          Our senior pastor would like it live by Easter.  We just launched a new website (Using clover) that has a nice integrated online giving ability, but we are trying to learn how well that data would integrate into the ROCK, or could it?

          Hi Andrew,

          Never having used Clover for donations, I'm speaking a little bit off the cuff.  One certain way it would work is for a report of Clover-based donations to be keyed into RockRMS.  So, it works... but who wants to re-key data?  :-)

          The ideal long-term solution would be to have some level of integration where the donations are automagically entered into RockRMS from Clover data.  While technically feasable, it will require some research to figure that out.  Having the automated integration done by Easter would be a tall order. ;-)

          A great first step would be to see an example export from Clover Donations to determine what is possible.
