How to make a dataview to filter by Extended Attributes

I'm trying to filter a list of people by the value of an extended attribute (if it is not empty, or equal to a certain value) but not sure how to do it in the dataview options.

Am I missing something or are we suppose to write SQL for this?

The Data View would be Applies to Person.
And the filter would be Person Fields and then just keep scrolling down past Person Properties until you get to Person Attributes.
