Lava Badge with state and check-boxes?

If using a Lava badge, can I have '3 states' while also using the tricks for multi-step ala font-awesome icons and the alert-success/alert-danger options?

The idea being that the badge lights up if a member of the church. It also has check-boxes to show progress through the classes. If a person has taken no classes and is not a member, it's not visible. If the person has taken a class but is not a member, it's a grayed out badge with (some) empty check-boxes. If the person is a member (regardless of classes), then the badge is tinted.

    I'm sure you can, but the Lava's going to be pretty complicated.  You'll need multiple assign statements to get the data you need, then start evaluating each one to trigger tint and checkboxes.
