Check - In Tablet Options

We're getting our check-in underway. Tried it last week using our personal iPads and loved it (Printing on ethernet connected GX420) but before we spring for buying iPads I thought I'd ask if anyone prefers using it on a Windows Tablet? Have you found a cheaper/better option than iPads?

Thanks!

In my opinion, if you have network-connected printers (ethernet or wifi), the iPad will be a better user experience than a cheap windows tablet. The only reason I would go with Windows tablet is if you have _USB only_ printers, as that's the only client that can talk to such printers (directly.)

Any recommendation on size? I know the current iPad standard is slightly smaller then the iPad air. The iPad mini seems to hide the back and cancel buttons below the fold.

The plain old $330 iPad runs check-in great. Any extra power of a higher end model would be wasted since it's basically just running a browser. No issue with everything fitting on the screen for us.
