Cannot Print to Label Printer

Hi Guys - I'm feeling really dumb.

I've honestly been trying for weeks to get checkin to connect to our Brother - Label Printer QL-700.

I'm running a PC with Windows 10. Trying to connect direct to the printer (usb). According to the Manuel I simply need to select device, and client and leave printer setting blank. I've tried every way I can think of and getting no results. The printer works with other software . I'm running rockrms on a external server.

When check in is complete it doesn't  say Printing has failed .. It doesn't even say it's printing ..

What am I doing wrong ?

Please help .. thank you

Steve

    1) The printer needs to use the ZPL (Zebra) language to work with Rock Check In - I am not sure if your model does or not. We had to replace over 30 Dynos with Zebras recently to make it work 🙄

    2) Since you’re trying to print locally from an external server you’ll need to use the Rock Check-in Windows Client in order to be able Use the printer. You can find the client download under Power Tools - External Downlaods.  The browser version will not print unless you have Rock hosted internally.

Thank you for your quick response. I will download the windows client I didn’t realise this was a separate program.. praying my printer is in the correct language.

Apreciate you taking the time to help !
