Single Email

Hey yall - We aren’t live on Rock yet but we are working to get there. The single email is becoming an issue - we use email for log in so this would affect the way we handle that moving forward. This may also be an issue for our staff since we have their staff email needed for external systems, but they will use their personal emails to sign up for ministry events. Does anyone else have similar issues with the single email field? How are you handling this?

    You really just need to train staff to NOT use their personal email for anything Rock related (even signing up for an event). If you have their email set in Rock to your org email and they use their personal one on the site, it will get changed in Rock... so they just need to be trained to forget about their personal email while on staff. I'm not tracking with what you mean by "we use email for log in so this would affect the way we handle that moving forward", though. The Rock login is not tied to the email field and while it might LOOK like an email address, it's not... it's a user login.
