Checkin using grade range

I have checkin setup to use the grade range and it doesn't seem to work properly for people without a graduation date.

For a person with a graduation date it works perfectly....only allowing a person to checkin to a group with the correct grade. If the person does not have a grade, but has a graduation year...then all works perfectly.

But, for person without a graduation date, checkin seems to ignore the grade range and allow the person to checkin even though the person does not fit the grade range requirement for the group. Example/test...without a graduation date, I am able to checkin to groups that are configured for specific grades. Once I entered a graduation year, I was not able to checkin to the groups with the grade range configured.

    The Grad years are connected to grade and calculated by the grade. So when a grade is selected the grad year should autofill. Then the grade ranges you set on checkin would work. If you are entering grad year it should also auto fill the grade. Grade offsets(what calculates the grad year) can be defined in the defined types found on the general settings page. But out of the box they should work.
