how to add someone to administrate our website

Hello, i would like to enable one of our volunteers to administrate our website.  I have not been able to find out how to add them, thank you for your help --Blaze

    Hi Blaze,

    It depends on what security settings you have in place and what you mean by "administrate". If you just want them to be able to edit content in some of the HTML blocks, then they just need the Edit permission for those blocks. If you want them to be able to add and remove blocks to the website then they need the "Administrate" permission on the page(s).

    The recommended way is to create a new security role and grant privileges to that security role. Then add your volunteer to that security role. This way if you ever need to add another person (or remove this volunteer) you only have to do it in one place, not various places around the system.

    Note: I am also assuming you are referring to your public website and not the Rock internal site.
