Guest/check in

Good morning,

Is there anyway to add guest in the check in system? I'm trying to wing off PCO, but the teachers like the fact that they can add guest within the check in system. Is there anyway to do this in rock?

Not like I think you're looking for. Ultimately you can only check in people who are registered in Rock.

You can get plugins that make registration at a manned station super quick, and some churches print blank name tags that they write the names on with a sharpie to at least keep the security of matching codes, so there are options we can help steer you to if you can establish exactly what you need

I recommend looking at the (free) "Attended Check-in" plugin by NewSpring Church in the Rock Shop - view the "Workflow" category and it's one of the four you'll see there. (It's page http://rock.rocksolidchurchdemo.com/page/4306?PackageId=32 in the Demo site). A very compelling demonstration is available in the RX2016 videos, if you've purchased those for your church.
Once it's installed, your /checkin page won't have changed, but you'll have a new page available at /attendedcheckin - meaning that you can run different kiosks on each of these systems simultaneously.
If you've already set up a checkin kiosk with an IP address, you can visit that page right away from that device- otherwise it'll inform you that you need to set up the device for checkin.
