Weekly Individual Attendance

Hi,

I am new to Rock RMS. We're a church of about 250 weekly. We don't want to implement check-in stations, but we would, however, like to enter individual attendance into the computer. Currently, attendees sign a pew pad. What we would like to do is go into Rock and enter the individual's names each week to take attendance. Is this possible?

Thanks so much!

Absolutely, you'll be recording their attendance in a group by clicking the check mark button on the right side of a group in group viewer.

Check out http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/7/75#enteringattendanceinformation for information on how to enter attendance into an appropriate group.

http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/7/75#groupattendance has more detailed information on how to set up a group to take attendance, if you don't already have one, but the abbreviated version of the process is this: you need a group that is set up to take attendance and that uses a new or existing group TYPE that has "weekend attendance" checked. That way the attendance entered will be reflected in the attendance badges on their profile and the Family Analytics job (if you turn it on) can set first and second visit dates automatically.
