permissions error on install

We are using an external host (GoDaddy).   When I try to run the install (website/Start.aspx), I get the  Error: Access to the path 'G:\PleskVhosts\dev.northstarchurch.com\httpdocs\write-permission.test' is denied.  I am able to successfully create both a directory and file in that same directory, so I am not sure why the test is failing?

    It sounds like whatever user "you" are when performing the test manually has different rights than the IIS instance itself. I'm not familiar with rights on GoDaddy web servers... have you contacted their support to ask how to let your web app write to the file system?

    Thanks.   I had spoke with someone but called again and got someone to change permissions, so I was able to install.
