Is there a comprehensive list somewhere of all the core blocks it comes with and what they do? I've been poking around the documentation but haven't found a section that goes through all of them. Thanks!

Hmm. I see information there about how to create a new custom block, but not about the blocks that it comes with.

The closest thing I'm aware of is under Admin | CMS Configuration | Block Types. There you will find a list of all blocks registered in your instance of Rock, and hovering over each gives a brief description. Beyond that, most "user usable" blocks are covered in the various Rock docs. You'll see that many of the block are for core functionality and aren't really "user facing" blocks.
