Reset Admin Password

We cannot remember the password used to setup the rock on our server. We are unable to create a new account, as it was never set up for email. Please help!

 

Yes, the install of rock on the server. No, no one else has access. We can totally reset everything, if needed. We've done 0 customizations.

    A couple questions:
    By on your server do you mean the install of rock or accessing the server it's hosted on?


    If you mean Rock's admin password:
    Did you give anyone else admin privileges?
    How much time have you spent customizing your install and adding data (just asking because you can start over in under 30 min if that's an option. I was guessing you aren't too far in if e-mail wasn't set yet.)

      I just need to know what to delete in the local server's wwwroot to reset the install.

        Oh yeah the content of that folder and you will need to delete and add the database again (or you will get prompted to during the install).

        Someone else might know of a way to save it but I would just delete the database and files off your server and do a clean install.

        I would just add that if there were an easy way to "reset" the (hopefully hashed) Admin password in Rock, I would consider that a securily flaw :-)
