I have a Macbook Pro. I am trying to understand how to set up the Rock on my desktop. The files I downloaded do not open for me. I have the latest operating system.

Hi E Hatch, you can use VirtualBox and download Microsoft Window Server ISOs from Microsoft. This will be only for local development
VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Microsoft Window Server ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2012-r2 (4.2 GB)

Then you can download RockRMS from inside the Virtual Machine and do the rest of the instructions

Rock requires a Windows Server environment and the ASP.Net platform.
