Family Attendance in the Rock

I'm sure this has been asked already, but I couldn't find it in the documentation. How can I add adult attendance in The Rock? I have attendance data on children from the check in system, but I want to go in after the service each week and mark who attended so we can get information on attendance and guest retention. Thanks!

If you're manually entering attendance, this implies you'renot terribly large. If that's the case, one easy method would be to create a group that "meets" on the same schedule as your services. Add all the adults to this group and you can then manually take attendance on the group. Would that work for you?

We are in the planning stage of Rock implementation and have a similar need.  We have about 350 folks attending our Sunday AM worship service.  We presently have a "guestbook" that everyone signs, then the attendance is logged later into Servant Keeper, our present system.  Our pastoral staff places great importance in knowing how often our folks attend on Sunday morning.

Having a "Sunday AM Worship Attenders" group sounds doable, but the question is - is there a quick way to add "all people" to a group easily, since anyone in our database of 1000 or so members and attenders may show up on any Sunday?

Wayne- This should be easy. Just create a Data View that pulls in all of your people records (or use the built in Adult Members & Attendees if that meets your needs) and then run the data view. Then in the resulting grid use the Bulk Update (little truck icon) feature to update everyone in that grid to be a member of the Group of your choice.

Thanks, Jim.  Glad to see that there is a "bulk" update of groups.
