Printable Directory

I am trying to find a way to print the directory by family.

I need detailed instructions.  I am really trying to figure this out but it's way over my head.  I have tried to run a report but I can't get it to keep families together.

    Save this file and upload it to your Rock as a "Merge Template" and then merge the Report or DataView you want to display in the directory. Be sure to click "Combine Family Members" to print the directory by family.

    I have not figured out a way to add photos yet, but I'm working on it. Otherwise, this is a relatively simple way to print families in a directory format for whatever groups you want.

    You will probably have better luck using Rock's Word Merge feature for this... a report will not allow you to format the results in a nice printable format, but a Word Merge will. I suggest you start by thoroughly reading the docs here https://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/9/98#mergedocuments

    Nate Barber thank you for creating the template for a simple printed directory! Super super helpful.

    I very sadly know nothing about coding... is there any way we could make multiple units appear on a page instead of each family being on their own page?
