Create custom data fields and modify the address format

I'm new to Rock.

I'd like to know if I can create custom fields, like the Chinese name, a member code, and make this custom fields searchable?

You can easily create Person Attributes to hold (pretty much) whatever data you want, but these aren't searchable without creating a custom search extension. However, Universal Search coming in Rock v7 will be able to return Person attributes.
