Beta GitHub Branch

I saw on Twitter that the beta is out.  What branch in GitHub is the beta?  I just see branches names "pre-alpha...", "release...", and "hotfix...".  Is it one of thoses?

    The current beta is on branch "release-1.4.0".
    Fixes made during the beta process are committed to "hotfix-1.4.1" which I believe is most likely to be the general availability version of 1.4 when it is released.
