Default State when adding family

Hi

When i add a person the default value in state is "AZ", i would like to change this

I am from South Africa so i deleted all US states and added my own.

I also made the Default value for country "ZA"

still my list of states do not even appear.

any assistance is appreciated

    You don't need to delete all of the US states to get this to work.
    Just add the States for South Africa to the Defined Type "Address State", but be sure to set the Country Code to "ZA".

    I believe the default Country for new addresses is the same as the "Organisation Address" set in the Global Attributes.
    Any values from the "Address State" Defined Type that match the select Country Code should be displayed in the State drop-down list.

    If you are not able to select a country for your Organisation Address, I think you may need to enable the "Support International Addresses" Global Attributes option.

    Change your organisation address to the correct country. Double check your Global Attributes for International Addresses is set to Y Make sure your defined States have a short name and a longer description.
