Check Scanner TS240 Not Being Recognized / Product Key Required for Silver Bullet?

Hi there,

We purchased a new check scanner (Digital Check TellerScan TS240) and have had trouble getting the Rock Scanning software to recognize it is connected (the magic green bubble!). We did manage to get it working after several hours of looking for different drivers, but now the Silverbullet/Ranger drivers we downloaded require a product key, which according to this user: https://community.rockrms.com/ask/using/300 do not come from Rock. Has anyone encountered this issue? We purchased the TS240 scanner because the Canon one we had is getting old and starting to have issues.

    Garrett,
    If you read the follow up to that post, which was from 9 years ago, it looks like the answer was that the Ranger drivers aren't published for easy download by Digital Check.  That church ended up buying the Canon scanner, which does seem to be the easiest to get working.

    In the finance documentation, the Canon scanners seem to be the recommended path. https://community.rockrms.com/documentation/bookcontent/15#supportedscanners

    Googling around, you may be able to find drivers for your TS240 listed by other organizations like banks.  If you bought the scanner through a vendor with customer service, you could also contact them.
