Defined Type Value in Data View?

Hi!

I have a defined type value list with four different values. I want to create a data view and list everybody that has Defined Value Id: 685 but don't understand how to do that. Any ideas?

God bless!

    Hi Henrik,

I will assume you have a Person Attribute already configured that uses the Defined Value as it's source. If that is the case, then when you create a Data View, you would set the Applies To to "Person" and your filter type would be "Person Fields".  Then the second drop down you should be able to scroll down towards the bottom and see all the Person Attributes you have defined. If you select the Person Attribute you have already created you can then pick which Defined Value(s) you want to match against.

    Hi!

It's just that it doesn't show up among the Person Attributes. I see all the other fields but not the ones that have a Value List.

Hmm. The only thing I could say without seeing screenshots of how everything is configured is if the Person Attribute doesn't show up along with all the other person attributes available when filtering a DataView then it is either not actually a Person Attribute or has some weird security set on it to prevent it from showing up anywhere.

I am having a similar issue - under the person attributes, I do not see one that has a value list. Did anyone come up with a solution?
