Lost Navigation bar in admin area

I tried to use the Excavation tool to import people and it failed and now I don't have a left nav bar any help would be appreciated

    It looks like you’re running the Rock internal portal with the wrong (external site) theme. Try adding ?theme=rock to the url to force it back to the correct themes.

    I added that and the nav came back - how do I fix that from happening

      It shouldn't happen... at least I've never seen that, so something odd happened and probably just a fluke. Just make sure in Admin | CMS Config | Sites your Rock site is set to use the Rock theme.
