Checkin

I appreciate the previous answer to my check-in question which pointed to the correct main check-in screen. The manuel claims by hitting the gear at the right hand lower corner it will bring me to a check in screen. Unfortunately I have not been able to get into the check in screen. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Please help? I have attached the pictures of the page when hitting the gearCheck in page.jpgcheck in gear.jpg

    The screen you show above is for the Checkin Manager, which is what you use to monitor checkin. To actually DO check-in, you need to point your check-in kiosk browser (or app if using windows or ipad) at yourrockserver/checkin instead of yourrockserver/checkinmanager. 


    You also keep referring to the gear icon, and I'm confused as to why. The gear icon shows up on the CHECKIN page (again, at the /checkin URL, not /checkinmanager) and it is only used to manage some aspects of checking at the kiosk (like overriding a room assignment, closing a room, etc). It is not used for the actual (normal) check-in process itself.


    So, hopefully that makes sense. If not, please browse to yourrockserver/checkin and tell us (or post a screen shot) of what you see.

    Oh, I also forgot to mention that the the gear icon can be disabled under Admin | Check-In Admin | Weekend Service | Edit, so maybe yours is simply disabled?
