Move to New Family option

How does the "Move to New Family" option work? When we edit a Family and click on Move to New Family and click Save, it just deletes this person from this family and copies him to a New family with the same Family details. Is this how it was working before? Shouldn't the system ask us, to which family this person should be moved to?

    You are correct, and it's working as designed. "Move to New Family" would be better called "Move to Own Family" as it moves someone out of their current family and into their own. This is how it's always worked. 

    If you want to move someone to a *different* family, go to that (destination) family first and add a person, choose the person you want to move and also select "remove from current family."

      You are absolutely right. That's what the documentation calls out too. I somehow forgot that point, until you pointed out. Have to add the person in the Destination family first. I tried it the other way around.
