PMM settings won't save account info

Hello!

I've been trying to get our background checks working within Rock via Protect My Ministry. Sent a test background check and it returned an error.

Here is what the end of the log reads:

<OrderXML>
<Method>SEND ORDER</Method>
<Authentication>
<Username>-removed-</Username>
<Password>-removed-</Password>
</Authentication>
<Status>ERROR</Status>
<Message>Invalid User name / Password</Message>
</OrderXML>

Error seems simple, right?

However, I've changed the username and password, and Rock still tried to login with the original username and password, ignoring the settings I've saved.

When I look at Rock's PMM settings, it shows the new username correctly. Is there a way to reset Rock's PMM settings?

    Aaron, there is a bug with the Protect My Ministry page not updating the cached setting when you save them. It will be fixed in next update. Work-around is to edit/save settings in the Background Check Providers page (it's under system settings too).

    You might try using the "i" button in the admin bar on the bottom of the Rock page and then Clearing Cache and try a test background check again.  Not sure if that will help but worth a shot.

      After a Rock Restart the correct username info displayed in the log (clearing the cache didn't change it). Still getting an invalid user/pass message. Gonna call PMM. Thanks for the help!

    Thank you both!

    Turns out I forgot to sign up for a Rock PMM account... whoops!
