Giving Transaction Type Issue

Ran the giving statement generator and found that only certain transactions were being selected. Only transactions that had the giving type "External Transaction" or "Event Registration" (list of transaction types shown in 2nd picture) were selected and output, this same pattern also appears in the Summary of Contributions block that is on the person profile page. In the first picture this is a profile that only shows a portion of all transactions in the summary section.

To remedy the situation I have attempted to create a new Transaction Type, but this did not populate the Summary or statement generator output. As well I looked into any settings that could be changed on the block of the summary section on the person profile, but there did not appear to be any options to change.

As I noticed from the Defined types page the transaction types that appear to be functioning correctly are not able to be deleted and have a greyed out x button. And other Transaction types that we have added are not functioning correctly.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated and Thanks in advance. Peace.

Are you sure this isn't an issue of certain accounts not being marked as "Tax Deductible"? (Set in Finance | Accounts) I wasn't aware that the "type" of transaction mattered on the contribution statement, and as long as the account is tax deductible it should show up... and it doesn't make sense why Event Registrations (which generally are NOT tax deductible) WOULD be showing up.

I do not understand why Transaction Type would matter, but I can manually change ONLY the transaction type on a specific transaction and it will show up in statement generator and summary section of the person profile.

I double-checked the "tax deductible" status of each of our accounts and they are set to deductible.

Yeah, this one has me stumped. You might try asking in the Rock Slack team (www.rockrms.com/slack to sign up) for more real-time help and where more Rock people hang out.
