Trying to load the software

Hi there


Trying to load the software onto my new Windows Server- APS.Net 4.* etc etc with a MS Database ready to go.  However I get the following message.

WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG OR WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY SETUP??

    Having spoken to support at the webserver that they havent given me the right package!  So I am having to change how I run things not great and not that impressed!

    The error is indicating that Rock can't get to the internet from the server. If you open a. Rowswr can you get to various sites?

    This is on an web host server and not on a home server...

    Basically what I am saying is I dont know how to check if I have access to the internet from the server?

      Do you have access to the server's console or RDP? If so log in that way, open a browser on the server itself and try to pull up www.google.com or something like that and see if it works.


      It could be the server has Internet access but DNS isn't working, which could also give that error you got in the screenshot. Trying to pull up www.google.com on the server itself will help answer that.
