Internal Site Login Help Needed

Hello,

Brand new to Rock RMS.

Using Winhost, installed everything and it went very well.

However, when I go to this url, hopeoflebanon.com, it goes to the internal site and not the external. If I go here, www.hopeoflebanon.com, it goes correctly to the external site.

When doing the set up, I chose admin.hopeoflebanon.com as the internal site url but that never worked. I then changed it to hopeoflebanon.com/backend and it still doesn't come up. I was hoping to get this sorted out before doing much work on the internal side of things. Any ideas?

Lastly, once I get this straightened out, how do I actually change content on the theme of our choosing. I keep looking for guides on where to go todo that, but I can't find anything.

    I figured out the first part of my question. I went to CMS Configuration/Sites and changed the External site from www.hopeoflebanon.com to just hopeoflebanon.com. Now when you go to either of those url's, the external site comes up.

    I still can't see the Admin Toolbar thought, to edit the external site.

      you need to add yourself as Web admin. Go to Admin Tools > Security > Security Roles. Click on WEB - Administration adn then add yourself there. Maybe even add yourself to WEB - General Editor also just to be sure you can edit. If you have changed the security settings for a specific page or block you would need to modify those setting as well.


      Regarding the domain issue the internal site can be run on a subdomain as long as its pointed to the Rock root directory.
